UPV recognises the teaching, research and management achievements of its academic staff

The Governing Council has approved the proposal for the allocation of additional performance-related pay for the academic staff of the Universitat Politècnica de València for the 2025 assessment period. The proposal will now be submitted to the Valencian Regional Government for final approval. The Council also approved the selection committees for upcoming academic staff recruitment processes.

The Governing Council has approved several changes related to lifelong learning at the Universitat Politècnica de València, including a review of its regulations, updates to the procedures for approving programmes and tuition fees for proprietary degrees, an update to the tuition fee of one master's programme, and the renaming of another.

UPV strengthens its academic integrity regulations to address new technological challenges and the use of artificial intelligence

The Governing Council of the Universitat Politècnica de València has unanimously approved amendments to its Academic Regulations and University Coexistence Regulations with the aim of strengthening the integrity of assessment processes. Among the main changes, the new rules explicitly prohibit the use of mobile phones and other unauthorized electronic devices during examinations, allow their detection through technical means, and establish expulsion from the examination and a grade of zero in the event of non-compliance.
